The Space in Dubai is a versatile luxury venue that combines premier event spaces, sports facilities, and high-end car storage. Designed for hosting exclusive corporate functions,
galas, weddings, and product launches, the venue offers state-of-the-art technology, VIP amenities, and a collection of rare cars to enhance its luxury appeal.
It also features sports facilities with golf simulators, tennis courts, boxing arenas, and gaming setups, catering to both private events and elite sports experiences.
Pulse Middle East was brought on board by Bash Hesnef Interior Design LLC to realize their vision for The Space’s audiovisual and lighting needs. The brief called for the design, implementation, and integration of interactive screens, entertainment lighting, high-end sound systems, and advanced automation controls throughout the venue.
- The complexity of the project lay in the extensive integration of multiple systems, including lighting, sound, and kinetic motor controls, all of which had to work seamlessly across the venue’s four event spaces. Coordination with multiple stakeholders, including those handling Wi-Fi, power systems, motorized setups, and MEP, was crucial. Despite these challenges, Pulse Middle East overcame them through the centralization of control systems using PixiLab Blocks, simplifying operations through automation. Pulse Middle East installed a cutting-edge, fully automated system that includes:
• Interactive Screens: Multiple 4K screens with live video inputs for dynamic media display.
• Entertainment Lighting: DMX-controlled lighting integrated with Visual Productions.
• High-End Sound Systems: A combination of TW Audio and Martin Audio speakers powered by Powersoft amplifiers.
• Full Venue Automation: Integrations with KNX for lighting and HVAC control, MODBUS for door automation, and kinetic motors for multimedia shows.
• Central Control via PixiLab Blocks: This system controls everything from sound and lighting to live video feeds and kinetic motor movements. An iPad connected to the venue’s Wi-Fi allows staff to control all systems with simple touch commands.
The system’s user interface was designed to be simple yet powerful. With just an iPad, venue operators can adjust lighting moods, stream live video feeds, control multimedia shows, and manage the comfort of the event spaces. The integration of PixiLab Blocks ensures seamless coordination of all AV and lighting systems, making it easy to set up events with varying requirements in minutes.
Despite the extensive system integrations, Pulse Middle East leveraged PixiLab Blocks to streamline the coordination between different technical components. By centralizing control, they were able to manage the intricacies of Wi-Fi, power systems, motors, and MEP coordination, ensuring smooth and efficient operation.
Pulse Middle East’s expertise and advanced technological solutions transformed The Space showroom into a fully automated, luxurious venue that can host a range of high-end events with ease. The integration of interactive screens, high-quality audio, and sophisticated lighting systems ensures that every event leaves a lasting impression, all controlled effortlessly from a single iPad.
